Andrew Bayer is an American music producer and DJ. He was born on the 19th of May, 1987 as Andrew Michael Bayer, in Washington D.C. Bayer’s musical style has been described as a mix of progressive house, trip hop and trance. Bayer began his career as a music producer in 2009, including collaborations with DJs like Brian Wayne Transeau (BT). His first album as a DJ was “It’s Artificial” which was released in 2011 and a couple of years later he released “If It Were You, We’d Never Leave”. Bayer produced the album “We’re All We Need” in 2011 for the band Above & Beyond. One of the songs on this album earned Bayer, alongside Zoë Johnston, a Grammy Award, in the category of Best Dance Recording. A couple of years later, he was again nominated in the same category for his work in the production of the song “Northern Soul” from the album “Common Ground” in 2018. He has collaborated with artists like Arty, Cosmic Gate, BT, Boom Jinx and Ilan Bluestone.
