Andrey Rublev Bio
Andrey Andreyevich Rublev is a professional tennis player born in Moscow, Russia, on October 20, 1997. He started tennis at age three, making his professional debut in 2014. In 2014, he represented Russia at the Nanjing Youth Olympic Games, placing third in men's singles and second in men's doubles. Fernando Vicente coaches him.
Andrey won the Roland Garros Junior Championships in 2014. He was named ATP Most Improved Player of the Year in 2020. He won gold in the All-ROC mixed doubles final at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics with Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova. The World number one Junior entered the men's singles Top 20 in January 2020, Top 10 in October 2020, and Top 5 in September 2021.
Andrey defeated Rafael Nadal at 2021 Monte Carlo, Daniil Medvedev at 2021 Cincinnati, and Novak Djokovic at 2022 Belgrade. He has received Russia's Orden of Friendship and Merited Master of Sports of Russia. He is associated with Nike, Head, Bulgari, and Penhaligon.
