Andy Black, born Andrew Dennis Biersack, is a recording artist from Cincinnati, Ohio, known primarily as the frontman of glam and metalcore band Black Veil Brides. The band released four albums in the early 2010s, and toured prolifically. In 2014, Andy announced his work as a solo artist distinct from his band. His debut single as a solo artist “We Don’t Have To Dance,” was released at the beginning of 2016, and a few months later he released his debut solo album, The Shadow Side on Republic Records. It charted in the United States, as well as Australia. He remains active both with his band, and as a solo artist.
