Andy C is the stage name of Andrew John Clarke, a British record producer and DJ, best known for being a pioneer in the drum & bass genre, and the co-founder of RAM Records. Clarke was born on the 7th of April, 1976, in Walsall, England. He began performing as a DJ at local venues before collaborating with Ant Miles as Origin Unknown on the track “Valley of the Shadows”. The single was a huge hit, earning Clarke a strong reputation in the industry. He continued releasing a string of singles, remixes and collaborations with the likes of Shimon, Major Lazer and Plan B, before launching his own record label RAM Records, which is the home label of artists like Bensley, SyRan and Culture Shock.
