Andy Garcia is a Cuban American actor and director born in Havana, Cuba on April 12, 1956. He is best known for his roles in the films The Godfather Part III, Internal Affairs, The Untouchables, When a Man Loves a Woman, Ocean’s Eleven, Ocean’s Twelve, Ocean’s Thirteen, and The Lost City. At the age of five his family moved to the United States. While in high school he decided to pursue a career in acting and started taking drama classes. He moved to Hollywood, California and landed a role in the television show ¿Qué Pasa, USA? in 1978. He continued landing roles in shows like For Love and Honor, Brothers, Foley Square, Frasier, Will & Grace, Top Gear, Ballers and more. In 1983 he made his debut in film in the movie Blue Skies Again. He has also had roles in the films A Night in Heaven, Black Rain, Dead Again, Hero, When a Man Loves a Woman, Steal Big Steal Little, Night Falls on Manhattan, Just the Ticket, The Unsaid, Twisted among others. Garcia has been nominated for a number of awards like an Oscar, two Golden Globes, a Primetime Emmy and more.
