Andy Karl Bio
Andrew Karl Cesewski, widely known as Andy Karl, is an actor and singer born on August 28, 1974, in Baltimore, Maryland, USA. He has appeared on stage as Kyle the UPS Guy in Legally Blonde The Musical and Tommy DeVito in Jersey Boys. He is an alumnus of Towson University.
Andy won an Olivier Award and an Outer Critics Circle Award for playing Phil Connors in Groundhog Day. He received Tony nominations for portraying Rocky Balboa in Rocky The Musical and Bruce Granit in On The Twentieth Century. He was in 9 to 5, The Wedding Singer, and The Mystery of Edwin Drood.
Between 2015 and 2016, Andy played Mike Dodds in Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. He starred in an episode of Blue Bloods, The Good Fight, and No Activity. Andy has appeared on The Theatre Podcast with Alan Seales, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, and Show People with Paul Wontorek. He collaborated with Orfeh to release the Legally Bound – Live at Feinstein's/54 Below album.
