Animal Kingdom Bio
Originating from North London, UK, Animal Kingdom is an indie-rock band who also plays alternative rock and post-Britpop music. They were considered to perform emotive and dreamy pop songs with the touch of modern rock often compared to Mercury Rev. The band started in late 2000s by founding members Richard Sauberlich for vocals, guitar, or piano, Hamish Crombie as bassist, Wayne Yardley as guitarist, and Geoff Lea for drums.
They were able to land a publishing deal with Warner Bros. in 2008. They released their debut album soon after having the title “Signs & Wonders” in 2009. Their next album is entitled “The Looking Away” was released in 2012.
