Known for her quick-wit and viral comedic nail salon skit, Anjelah made a memorable stamp in comedy. Born on May 14th, 1982 and raised in San Jose, she started out as a professional cheerleader for the Oakland Raiders where she snagged Rookie of the Year, and performed at the Super Bowl XXXVII. Moving to LA, Anjelah was an extra on the iconic show FRIENDS where she watched and learnt from the main cast for years while being on set. The comedian then decided to take joke writing and stand-up comedy classes. After her viral “Nail Salon” video, Anjelah joined the cast of MADtv, which led to another viral sensation “Bon Qui Qui”. Embracing the character Bon Qui Qui, she released three songs and two music videos as the persona, leading to her signing with Warner Bros. Records. Anjelah tours with her stand-up comedy acts, which have aired on Comedy Central, Netflix, Epix Channel and Hulu. Catching the acting bug, Anjelah has starred in many movies including Our Family Wedding, Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel, Enough Said, and Boys Night out. Her acting prowess has also led to guest appearances in Ugly Betty, Superstore, The Shield, and Curb Your Enthusiasm.
