Ann Curry is an award-winning American photojournalist, news reporter, and news anchor. Ann in Hagåtña, Guam, on November 19, 1956. Ann Curry began her news reporting career in the late ‘70s when she began appearing in KTVL news briefs. Afterward, she worked at KGW and KCBS for a combined 10 years before she moved on to the network she is most associated with, NBC News. While there, Ann worked as an anchor on the segments NBC News at Sunrise, Weekend Today, Dateline NBC, and Today. After 15 years with NBC, she moved on in 2015, and shortly after, Ann created her own production company, Ann Curry Inc. She has collaborated on news-related projects with PBS and TBS. Over her illustrious career, she received multiple awards including an NAACP award for Excellence in Reporting, a Gracie Award, and four Golden Mike awards.
