Anna Maria Chlumsky is an award-winning American actress best known for her work in film and television. She was born in Chicago, Illinois, United States, on December 3, 1980. Anna began her acting career at the age of nine in 1989, and she became famous the next year when she was cast as the protagonist Vada Sultenfuss in the blockbuster film My Girl. Her filmography now includes My Girl 2, Gold Diggers: The Secret of Bear Mountain, The End of the Tour, In the Loop, and The Mommy Market. Anna is best known for starring in the comedy series Veep alongside Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Tony Hale, Timothy Simons, and Sarah Sutherland, but she has also had recurring roles in the series Inventing Anna, Rugrats, Halt and Catch Fire, and Hannibal. She has won multiple awards including a Gold Derby Award for Comedy Supporting Actress, a Gracie Allen Award for Outstanding Female Actor in a Supporting Role in a Comedy or Musical, and a Young Artist Award for Best Performance by a Young Actress Starring in a Motion Picture.
