Anna Clendening was born on March 12th, 1993. Anna was born and raised in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Anna was diagnosed with anxiety disorder when she was 14 and that stopped her from pursuing her dreams as a singer.
Anna got her fame in 2014, when she was a contestant in the 9th season of America’s got talent. During her audition she sang the song Hallelujah from Leonard Cohen. When she got onto the stage, judge Howie Mandel spoke to her about her disorder. Anna’s audition has more than 41 million views on YouTube. During the quarter finals of America’s got Talent, Anna was eliminated from the competition.
In 2019, Anna signed a contract with Asylum and has since then produced singles like Boys like you and Bend & Break. Anna has 715k subscribers on YouTube and more than 418k followers on her Instagram account.
