Anna Gasser is a snowboarder born on 16th August 1991 in Villach, Austria. She made her snowboarding debut in the 2010/11 season. In 2013, she competed at FIS Snowboarding World Championship, where she finished in 18th place. In November 2013, she performed a Cab Double Cork 900 kicker, becoming the first snowboarder to perform it. During the 2017 season, she won 3 X Games medals. She also competed at the snowboarding World Championships where she won a Gold medal.
Although she qualified for the slopestyle final event, she was classified 10th after failing in both runs for the final event. In 2018, she competed in the inaugural Big Air event, in which she won gold. She later finished 15th in the women’s slopestyle final. In the 2022 Winter Olympics, she was able to defend her title in the final run.
