Anna Gunn Bio
Award-winning Actress Anna Gunn, was born on August 11th, 1968 in Ohio, USA. She fell in love with acting at Santa Fe Preparatory School in drama class, studied with teachers from the Actor’s Studio, and continued her training at the theatre department at Northwestern University where she won a scholarship award. Anna then studied abroad at the British American Drama Academy where she performed in the final project at the prestigious Royal Court Theatre in London.
Most known for her role as Skylar White in the Emmy award-winning series Breaking Bad, Anna’s acting chops are proven by her extensive resume and diverse range. Gunn had stints on various shows including Deadwood, Gracepoint, The Practice and Shades of Blue. Anna has also made the rounds on Law & Order, Lie To Me, Six Feet Under, Boston Legal, Criminal Minds, Seinfeld, NYPD Blue, ER and many other popular shows. However, it was her role in Breaking Bad that snagged her an Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series. Anna has featured in many films including Nobody’s Baby alongside Gary Oldman and Mary Steenburgen; Enemy of the State, Without Evidence, Little Red Wagon, and Sassy Pants.
