Annalise Basso is an American actress and model born December 2, 1998, in St. Louis, Missouri, USA. Basso is mostly known for her movie roles such as Standing Up (2013), as well as horror movies Oculus (2013), Ouija: Origin of Evil (2016), and Slender Man (2016). She's also appeared on a number of television shows, in single episodes, but also in a recurring role. Some of her notable television appearances include shows such as Bones, Parks and Recreation, New Girl, and The Red Road, where she appeared in 8 episodes alongside Jason Momoa and Martin Henderson. Basso also appeared in one of the best movies of 2016, Captain Fantastic, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and was screened at the Cannes Film Festival. Basso shared the screen with the established Hollywood star and prominent artist Viggo Mortensen, who was nominated for the Golden Globe, the BAFTA Award, as well as for the Academy Award for Best Actor. In the film, Basso played one of six children to Mortensen's character. Basso's latest endeavor was the role of Vivian in The Bloodhound (2020), a movie inspired by the work of Edgar Allan Poe.
