Annie Macmanus Bio

Annie Mac, short for Annie MacManus is an Irish DJ and television personality. She was born on the 18th of July, in Dublin, Ireland, although she would later relocate to London. She began her career as a radio host in 2004 on BBC Radio 1. She has hosted different programs like “Radio 1’s Future Sounds”, “BBC Switch” alongside fellow DJ Nick Grimshaw and “Annie Mac Mini Mix”. She is also a regular on BBC’s “The Culture Show”. In 2009, she released her debut compilation album “Annie Mac Presents”. She was selected by Channel 4 in 2012 to hold a live party for New Year’s House Party. In 2017, she presented a documentary program on BBC called “Who Killed the Night” which investigated the status of British nightlife.
