Anthony Abayomi Alabi is an actor, writer, and former NFL player born on February 16, 1981, in San Antonio, Texas. He attended Antonian College Prep School, where he began to play football. He continued his football career when he attended Texas Christian University. He was drafted to the Miami Dolphin in 2005 where he played until 2007. He would continue to play football for Kansas City Chiefs and Tampa Bay Buccaneers before moving to Los Angeles in 2010 to pursue his passion for acting. He sought training in both comedy and drama acting before starting to audition for parts. He played several parts, appearing in a guest or recurring capacity in shows like Shameless, Raven’s Home, and Modern Family, before landing his first leading role in Netflix’s Family Reunion. Premiering in 2019, Alibi played the character of Moz McKellan alongside actors like Loretta Devine, Tia Mowry, and Richard Roundtree.
