Anthony Russo Bio
Anthony Russo was born on June 2, 1973 in Cleveland, Ohio. He is a producer and director best known for his work on Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014), as well as Captain America: Civil War (2016). Back in 2006, he also directed You, Me and Dupree with his brother, Joe Russo. Anthony and Joe worked together in television as well, sharing a Primetime Emmy Award for their work on Arrested Development (2004). Some of his upcoming projects in 2017 include The Warriors, Deadly Class, Untitled Ghostbusters Project, Quantum and Woody, Dizzy Pursuit, and Not Safe For Work. As a director, he has two upcoming feature films, Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and Untitled Avengers Movie (2019). He and his brother have been deemed Marvel’s “favorite directors” for their top-selling works.
