Antonio Giovinazzi is a racing driver who was born on December 14, 1993, in Martina Franca, Italy. He began his racing career in 2012 when he competed in the Formula Pilota China, where he managed to become the champion in his debut. In 2013 he competed in the British Formula Three Championship with Sean Gelael and Tatiana Calderón with the Double R Racing team, where he ended up being runner-up. That same year he competed in the FIA Formula 3 European Championship with the same team, where he ended up number 15 and continued competing in the same event for two more years. He also competed in 2015 Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters, won the 2015 Masters of Formula 3, competed in the 2016 Asian Le Mans Series, where he finished in 3rd place, and the 2016 GP2 Series after he joined Perma Powerteam. In 2017 he made his debut in the Formula One field, being a reserve and test driver for Ferrari. In 2019 he signed up to be an Alfa Romeo driver in Formula One.
