Antonio Rüdiger is a professional soccer player born in Berlin, Germany, on March 3, 1993. He spent his youth career at VfB Sperber Neukölln (2000–2002), SV Tasmania Berlin (2002–2005), Neuköllner Sportfreunde 1907 (2005–2006), Hertha Zehlendorf (2006–2008), Borussia Dortmund (2008–2011), and VfB Stuttgart (2011–2012). He played for the Germany U18, U19, U20, and U21 teams.
His professional debut was with the VfB Stuttgart's reserve team in 2011. Antonio played for Roma (2016–2017) and Chelsea (2017–2022). The center-back joined Real Madrid in 2022. He won the FA Cup, UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League, UEFA Super Cup, and FIFA Club World Cup with Chelsea.
Antonio won the 2022 UEFA Super Cup with Real Madrid. He made his national debut for Germany in May 2014, winning the 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup with them. He received the U19 Fritz Walter Gold Medal in 2012. His accolades include UEFA Champions League Team of the Season, PFA Team of the Year, and ESM Team of the Year.
