April + VISTA Bio
April + VISTA is a musical band from Washington DC, USA. This musical group that consists of two people describes themselves as the ‘odd ones out’ because they have such a unique sound. Through their music, April + VISTA want to tell stories. The two members of the band are April George and Matt Vista. April plays the violin and piano, she is also the vocalist and music composer. While Matt VISTA is the producer, bassist, and composer.
The first single April and VISTA recorded is called If Light Escapes. The song is brilliantly written about a feeling of hopelessness that drives one into the dark. In 2015, the duo released their debut album called Lanterns. The album has six tracks and focuses on healing after heartbreaks.
The album was recorded at Blast Off Productions owned by Frank Hendler and Asparagus Studios where Steve Steckler works.
