Arden VanAmringe Myrin is a comedian, writer, and actress born on December 10, 1973, in Little Compton, Rhode Island. Myrin has been a performer since she was young, staging neighborhood plays and writing plays in high school. At 19, Myrin moved to Chicago, where she discovered her love for comedy. She began performing stand-ups in her early 20s. She also began studying improvisational comedy in Chicago. Myrin’s first big role on television was in 1997, appearing in Working alongside star Fred Savage. In 2005, Myrin became one of the cast members of MadTV, remaining with the cast until the show’s end in 2009. She has appeared in numerous other television shows, like Inside Amy Schumer, Chelsea Lately, and Key and Peele. In 2018, she became one of the cast members of Insatiable, playing the role of Regina Sinclair for two seasons. In 2020, Myrin released her memoir titled Little Miss Little Compton, which chronicles Myrin’s early childhood and her two decades of comedy career.
