Ardie Savea Bio
Ardie Suemalo Savea is a professional rugby player born in Wellington, New Zealand, on October 14, 1993. He joined New Zealand's national sevens team in 2012 and made his Super Rugby debut for the Hurricanes in 2013. He played for New Zealand U20 and toured with the All Blacks on their Northern Tour as a non-playing apprentice.
Ardie is a recipient of the New Zealand Age Grade Award. He captained his First XV side, the New Zealand Schools side, and his Wellington provincial side. In 2021, Ardie was named captain of the Hurricanes. He led the All Blacks for the first time against Australia in Perth, becoming the All Blacks 70th Test captain.
Ardie captained the All Blacks in the historic 100th against the Springboks in Townsville. The flanker has played for Barbarian FC and North Island. He launched his clothing line, asav clothes, in 2017. His verified Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok accounts have 316,000, 45,100, and 192,200 followers, respectively.
