Ariel Posen is a musician and music producer from Winnipeg, Canada. Before striking out solo, Posen was a guitarist for The Bros. Landreth. Born in a musical family, Posen began playing guitar when he was very young and he began playing at gigs when he was 14. He played in a high school band and after a year in university, he decided to drop out to pursue a career as a musician. Posen played for The Bros. Landreth, who are also based in Winnipeg, since Posen was 18. During a time in Ireland, he booked a few events under his solo name, where he played covers of other songs. Here, he connected with fellow guitarist Murray Pulver. After Posen toured with Josh Smith as a co-bill in the U.K., Posen and Murray began producing Posen’s first album, How Long, which he released in 2019. Posen was voted as one of the top 10 rock guitarists of the year by the readers of Music Radar. He was also nominated for Breakout Artist Of The Year by the Western Canadian Music Awards.
