Arika Kane was born in Killingly, Connecticut. She is an American recording artist, songwriter and producer. She signed with BSE in 2009 and released her self-titled debut album the following year. Her third single, “Here With Me,” became her first platinum-selling single after reaching #69 on Billboard Hot 100. She also released her second studio album in 2012, which produced the hit singles “Waiting”, and “Fight For Your Life.”
Kane was the only female artist to appear with Kenneth “Baby Face” Edmonds, Charlie Wilson and Maze at the DeSoto Civic Center in Augusta, GA, in 2009. In 2010, the UAC Mediabase Charts and BSE Recordings named her the #1 Independent Artist and Label in the country for 20 weeks straight. Kane is also a women’s rights advocate.
