Russian hockey player, Artemi Panarin was born on 30th October 1991 in Korkino, Soviet Union. He learned to play ice hockey at five under the guidance of his maternal grandfather. His professional hockey career was with HC Vityaz in the Kontinental Hockey League. After scoring 20 points in 20 playoff games, he was chosen in the KHL all-star team for the 2014-2015 season. In 2015, he joined the Chicago Blackhawks and scored his first career goal against the New York Rangers. He contributed significantly to the success of the team in the season. In the 2016 playoffs he scored the fist Stanley Cup goal and registered seven points in total. He received the Calder Memorial Trophy at the NHL Awards in 2016. He even won the Kharlamov Trophy which is awarded by the Russian Hall of Fame to the best professional player. He was traded to the Columbus Blue tickets in 2017 and to the New York Rangers in 2019.
