ASAP Twelvyy, born as Jamel Phillips on May 30th, 1989 in Harlem, New York is a rapper and member of the group ASAP Mob. Twelvvy met the other members of the ASAP Mob in 2008. He cites artists such as Jay-Z, Big L, Nas, Big Pun, and 50 Cent as his musical influences.
ASAP Twelvvy began his music career as a featured artist on ASAP Rocky’s song “Trilla” which first appeared on his Live. Love. ASAP mixtape. In 2012 he released his set of solo songs including “A.S.A.P Bullshit” and “Our World.” He was also a featured artists on ASAP Mob’s debut mixtape Lords Never Worry appearing on the tracks “Y.N.R.E” and “Gotham City.”
In 2015 Twelvvy released his single “Heaven Can Wait” featuring Emilz and went on tour with the Flatbush Zombies on the 3001: A Laced Odyssey Tour. In 2016 he released the single “Lords Never Worry” which went viral as part of the #WavyWednesday series on Instagram. His debut album was released in August 2017 called 12.
