Ashley Benson Bio
Ashley Benson is an American actress, model and dancer. She was born Ashley Victoria Benson on the 18th of December, 1989, in Anaheim Hills, California, U.S. She started her dancing career at age four, participating in several dance contests for children. At age eight she started her modelling career, when she signed with Ford Models. In 2002, she made her television debut, playing a small role in the series “The District”. She made several other appearances in television shows such as “Nikki”, “The West Wing”, “CSI” and “Strong Medicine”. In 2004, she made her big screen debut in the movie “13 Going 30” starring Jennifer Garner. In 2010 she landed her breakthrough role as Hanna Marin, the lead role of the popular series “Pretty Little Liars”, which she held for 7 years. In 2011 she won a Youth Rock Award as Rockin’ TV Actress for her role in “Pretty Little Liars”, and 3 years later she won a Teen Choice Award as Choice Summer TV Star-Female for the same role. She has been nominated to several more awards during her career.
