Country music singer/songwriter Ashley Monroe was born in Knoxville, Tennesse, on September 10, 1986. She became known locally as a talented young singer when she was in her early teens, and was eventually signed to Sony Records. In 2006, she release her first single off of her debut album, titled “Satisfied”, followed by the track “I Don’t Want To”, which went to #37 on the Hot Country Songs chart. After a few delays, the album Satisfied was made available in 2009, which she followed with a record deal with Warner Bros. Nashville and her second studio album, Like a Rose, in 2013.
In 2011, Ashley Monroe joined country superstar Miranda Lambert and singer Angaleena Presley to form the country trio Pistol Annies, who released two albums between 2011 and 2013.
