Austin Aries Bio
Daniel Healy Solwold Jr., popularly known as Austin Aries, was born on April 15, 1978. He is an American professional wrestler most renowned for his accomplishments with TNA. He is a three-time IMPACT World Champion, six-time Impact X-Division Champion, and one-time Impact World Tag Team Champion.
Austin Aries began wrestling professionally in 2004. He fought in Generation Next under Ring of Honor (ROH) and wrestled alongside teammate, Roderick Strong, to win the ROH World Tag Team Champion. At Final Battle (2004), Austin Aries defeated Samoa Joe to win the ROH World Championship and ended his 654-day reign.
He lost the title and regained it in 2009, becoming the first two-time champion. Aries also wrestled in Total Nonstop Action Wrestling between 2005 and 2007 under the ring name of Austin Starr. In 2011, he returned to TNA and wrestled till 2015. Aries won the TNA X Division Championship six times. He also won the World Tag Team Championship and the Impact Grand Championship.
