Austin Nichols is an American actor born on April 24, 1980, in Michigan, United States. Austin is best known for his role as Julian Baker in the drama series One Tree Hill. He is also known for his supporting roles in the 2004 Roland Emmerich`s blockbuster The Day After Tomorrow, Richard Loncraine`s romantic comedy Wimbledon opposite Kirsten Dunst and Paul Bettany, James Gartner`s drama Glory Road. He also played Spencer Monroe on the hit series The Walking Dead.
He was raised in Austin, Texas, and moved to Los Angeles when he turned 18. He then enrolled in the University of Southern California where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English in 2002.
He grew up as a competitive water skier like his mother Kay Nichols. He competed for the United States Junior Olympic water skiing team until he sustained an injury and had to abandon that dream.
In 2021 he played Clint West in the TV series Walker starring Supernatural star Jared Padalecki.
