Austin Reaves Bio
Austin Tyler Reaves (born May 29, 1998) is an American professional basketball player for the National Basketball Association's Los Angeles Lakers (NBA). He was a member of the Wichita State Shockers and the Oklahoma Sooners in college.
In Newark, Arkansas, Reaves attended Cedar Ridge High School. In his first two years, he won back-to-back Class 2A state championships. In a triple-overtime victory over Forrest City High School, Reaves scored 73 points. He led his team to the Class 3A state championship as a senior, averaging 32.5 points, 8.8 rebounds, and 5.1 assists per game.
Reaves was voted state tournament MVP after averaging 43.3 points in four games. He was a two-time All-State selection in Class 3A.
