Israeli actress, Ayelet Zurer was born on 28th June 1969 in Tel Aviv, Israel. She served in the Israeli Defense Forces and studied acting at the Yoram Loewenstein Performing Arts Studio. She then moved to New York to study at the Actor’s Workshop by George Morison. She started her career with an Israeli TV series ‘Inyan Shel Zman’ in 1992. Her acting debut came with the 1993 Israeli comedy film, ‘Nikmato shel Itzik Finkelstein’. She has starred in several other Israeli shows like ‘Florentin’, ‘Zinzana’, ‘Shalva’, and ‘Ha’Block’. She bagged the Best Actress Award for the film, ‘Ha’Asonot Shel Nina’ at the 2003 Israeli Film Academy Awards. In 2004, she made a break into Hollywood with Steven Speilberg’s ‘Munich’. For her work in the drama series, ‘Betipul’, she won the Best Actress Award at the 2005 Israeli Television Academy Awards. One of her most recognized roles is that of Vanessa Marianna in the Marvel series, ‘Daredevil’.
