Ayo Edebiri is an American actress, film writer and stand-up comedian who was born on October 3rd 1995 in Boston, Massachusetts, United States. She was born and raised in Boston. She graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Teaching from New York University.
Ayo’s TV debut was in the series Defectives in 2014. Since then she has starred in a number of movies including 2020’s Shithouse, Cicada and 2021’s How It Ends. As a writer, she is famous for collaborating with Sunnyside and Robin Thede for writing some seasons of the show Rundown. She also joined the writing staff of the animated series Big Mouth in the show’s fifth season. She is also known for her stand-up comedy performance in Comedy Central’s Up Next.
