B. Smyth Bio

B. Smyth, born as Brandon Smith is an American R&B and hip hop singer and dancer from Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He is known for his single, ‘Ride Good’ ranking up 9.2 million plays on Spotify. Similar to many YouTube artists, B. Smyth began posting song covers in 2011. He is popularly known for his covers of Michael Jackson, Frank Ocean and Rihanna amongst many others. B. Smyth’s voice attracted many fans and by 2012, he was signed to Motown Records. He released his first single, ‘Leggo’ featuring rapper 2 Chainz. ‘Leggo’ made the Billboard U.S. R&B Songs List at number 41. Smyth released his debut album in 2013, ‘The Florida Files EP’, produced by Mike Will Made It and featuring rapper Future on the track, ‘Win Win’. In 2015, The young R&B artist moved over to RCA Records and released his single, ‘Creep’ featuring Young Thug with 6 million views globally and ‘Twerkaholic’ which has 13 million views on YouTube. This was followed by ‘Gold Wrappers’ featuring Rick Ross in 2016. The now-28 year old has been featured on Teen Vogue, VIBE, Complex and The Boombox.
