B Young Bio
B Young is the stage name of the British rapper Bertan Jafer. Jafer was born in Hackney, London on January 12, 1995. He is best known for his hit single “Jumanji” released in 2018 through Columbia Records. The single reached number 13 on the UK singles chart. Bertan worked as a sound engineer for several years before becoming a rapper. He released his debut single in 2017 titled “Been Wavey” and has since released the singles “Jumanji”, “079ME”, and “Juice.” The single “079ME” reached number 12 on the UK R&B charts and number 23 on the UK charts and the single “Juice” reached number 96 on the UK charts. He has also been featured on the songs “Take the Lead” by Chip on his album Ten10 and “Movie” by ADP.
