Hailing from Miami, Florida, Bacilos is an award-winning American band that performs Latin pop music. The group consists of Jorge Villamizar on vocals and guitar, André Lopes on bass guitar, and José Javier Freire on drums. Bacilos was formed in 1997, and in 1999, they released their debut studio project Madera. In the decades since, they have had a successful career with numerous tours and a discography that includes the hit singles Caraluna, Mi primer millon, Tabaco Y Chanel, Perderme Contigo, and the albums Abecedario, Sinverguenza, and Donde Nos Quedamos. Bacilos was featured on Susana’s album Sopa De Letras alongside fellow musical artists Antonio Jose and Lasso. Bacilos won a Grammy award for Best Latin Pop Album.
