Badly Drawn Boy Bio
Born in October 2, 1969, Badly Drawn Boy or legally known as Damon Michael Gough, is from Bolton, Lancashire, England. He plays indie rock, indie folk, and lo-fi music among other genres. He is a songwriter held with great creativity. He started recording after an agreement with Andy Votel, forming the Twisted Nerve label.
Gough released his single “Once Around the Block” in 1999 taking him to the British charts. He was then noticed by XL recordings and landed another publishing deal to release his debut album entitled “The Hour of Bewilderbeast” in 2000. In Britain, the album received Mercury Prize for Best Album. In 2002, Gough released “Have You Fed the Fish?” and “One Plus One is One” by 2002.
