BaianaSystem Bio
BaianaSystem is a musical group formed in 2009, Salvador, Bahia. The group is known for their song “Playsom,” which was used as a soundtrack on Fifa 16. Their album, O Futuro do not delay, which was released at the 2019 Latin Grammy, won the Best Rock Album or Alternative Music in Portuguese Language award. The musical style of the band combines samba reggae, rap rock, ijexa, and ska rhythms. The band collaborates with other musicians, artists, and producers. Some of the people who have been pivotal in shaping their sound for producers and DJs Mahal Pitta and Joao Meirelles.
The band has played in a wide range of festivals in Brazil, including Pernambuco Nação Cultural, Conexao Vivo, and others. They have released a wide range of tracks that have helped them gain fame and become famous in Brazil and around the world.
