Baker Boy, whose birth name is Danzal James Baker, is an Australian rapper, dancer, artist, and actor, who was born on October 10, 1996, in Darwin, Northern Territory. He began his career in 2016, when he appeared on ABC TV Original Series ‘You Can’t Ask That’, and was featured in a video for ‘Yolngu Style’. In the following year, he won the Triple J Unearthed National Indigenous Music Awards Competition, and released the singles ‘Cloud 9’ and ‘Marryuna’.
In 2018, he released his third single, which was titled ‘Mr. La Di Da Di’, and it was later followed by ‘Black Magic’ in July of that same year. In 2019, he released three new singles, ‘Cool as Hell’, ‘Meditjin’, and ‘In Control’. His first album, titled ‘Gela’, was released in September 2021, which included the song ‘Better Days’, which was chosen as a single.
