Band of Horses is an alternative band formed in 2004 in Seattle, Washington. The group is made up of Creighton Barrett, Ben Bridwell, Matt Gentling, Ian MacDougall, and Ryan Monroe.
The group released their debut album Everything All the Time in 2006. The year after, they released Cease to Begin which entered the Billboard 200 and peaked at No. 35.
In 2010, the group’s third album, Infinite Arms, made it to the UK charts and peaked at No. 21 and entered Billboard 200, peaking at No. 7. Band of Horses released the 11-track album Mirage Rock which includes the songs “Slow Cruel Hands of Time” and “Knock Knock.” The group’s latest effort Why Are You OK was released in 2016 and top tracks include “In a Drawer” and “Casual Part.”
