Band of Skulls Bio

Band of Skulls is a British indie-rock band formed in Southampton in 2004. It consists of Russell Marsden (guitar and vocals), Emma Richardson (bass and vocals), and Matt Hayward (drums). In 2008 they recorded a demo which earned them some notoriety and gave way to their first LP “Baby Darling Doll Face Honey” in 2009. After an international tour in support of the release, the band worked with producer Ian Davenport to record “Sweet Sour”, which came out in 2012. Two years later, and preceded by its hit single “Asleep at the Wheel”, the band released its third full-length album, titled “Himalayan”. In 2016 the Skulls signed with BMG and issued an LP titled “By Default”. After the exit of drummer Hayward, the band carried on as a duo and released “Love Is All You Love” in 2019.
