BandGang Lonnie Bands Bio
BandGang Lonnie Bands is one of the most important names in the Michigan rap scene. Born on 25th July 1995, he was one of the members of the six-member rap collective, BandGang who broke out as an indepen In 2016, he released his debut EP titled ‘Talk That Sh*t’. This was followed by ‘Run it Up’ which became one of his best-known singles, getting over 500,000 views on YouTube. He has cranked out several songs since then which follow a no-frills street rap style talking about neighborhood politics, drug trafficking and other familiar subjects. He gained most of his popularity on social media with music videos going viral. One of the songs, ‘Whatever I Say” has more than 400,000 views on YouTube. The track, ‘Homicide’ has been streamed 18 million times on Spotify. His first album, KOD was give a 7.7 out of 10 in the ratings of Pitchfork, an online music publication.
