Banks, otherwise known as Jillian Rose Banks was born on June the 16th 1988 in California and is an American songwriter and singer. With a career that began with the release of her EP’s Fall Over and London, the singer then released her debut album Goddess in 2014 to overwhelmingly positive reviews, the track Beggin for Thread was certified gold and her second album The Altar also held major critical success, establishing her as a contemporary artist.
Signed to IAMSOUND, Good Years and Harvest, Banks has toured with The Weeknd on an international tour. The artist has so far been nominated for an MTV Award and BBC Award. In 2015 Banks also released her remix album, Goddess Remixes, another successful release.
