Banoffee is a solo project by the Australian musician Martha Brown, born on August 27, 1989, in Melbourne. She is the sister of singer/songwriter Hazel Brown who was part of the experimental pop band otouto. Banoffee released two songs in 2012 on her Soundcloud profile, titled Ninja and Got It. In 2013 she made a music video for the song Ninja.
Banoffee’s self-titled EP was released in 2014 and featured the two previous songs along with a new one called Reign Down. In 2015 she released her second EP titled Do I Make You Nervous?, through Dot Dash/ Remote Control. Some of her other popular songs include Ripe, Bubble, and Tennis Fan. She featured on Charles Murdoch’s album Point, on the song Back To It, along with Oscar Key Sung. Other collaborations include HTMLflowers, Chela, and Collarbones. Banoffee released her debut album in 2020 titled Look At Us Now Dad, through Dot Dash Recordings.
