Barbora Krejčíková Bio

Czech professional tennis player, Barbora Krejčíková was born on 18th December 1995 in Brno, Czechia. She started playing tennis at 6 and was mentored by Jana Novotna. In her junior career, she was ranked World No.3 in October 2013. This was the year that she won the girls' doubles at the  French Open, Wimbledon, and IS OPen. She also made it to the finals of the Australian Open. In 2013, she also won the singles and doubles categories at the European Junior Championship U18. Barbora Krejčíková has won one Grand Slam singles title and nine doubles titles including the Super Slam in the Latter. In 2021, she won the singles title at the French Open. She has two Wimbledon Championships, two French Open and one Australian Open women’s doubles title. She also won the 2019 and 2021 Australian Open mixed double titles. This made her one of the only three female players to have won major titles in all three categories. In February 2022, she was ranked World No.2.
