Barely Alive Bio
Barely Alive are an electronic music duo from Massachusetts, U.S, although they are mainly based in Los Angeles. The duo is made up of Matt Meier and Willie Watkins, who are both DJs and electronic music producers. They began producing music around 2013, and they soon earned recognition in the electronic music scene with remixes of Virtual Riot, Getter and Astronaut, among other artists. In 2014, they released their debut EP “Lost in the Internet” which turned out to be a huge success. They began touring across Europe and the U.S., sharing the stage with artists such as Trolley Snatcha and Datsik. In 2015, they released their debut studio album “We Are Barely Alive” through Disciple Records, soon followed by two more albums. They have release over 50 hit singles, 10 EPs and 3 studio albums, besides several collaborations with artists like Far Too Loud and Zomboy.
