Bathe Bio
Bathe is an American R&B duo consisting of singer and songwriter Devin Hobby and Corey Smith-West. The two met during their freshman year in college which resulted in the release of their solo, ‘Sure Shot’. After the release of their single, the duo was selected to perform at the SXSW at the Townsend as well as at Swan Dive Patio. Gaining recognition from their live performance, Bathe released their first EP titled ‘I’ll Miss You’ in 2019 which the duo states is a “Surf R&B project about a black man who learns to let go of a girl who ghosted.” The duo has been compared to Blood Orange and Frank Ocean with their singles such as ‘Kimmi’ and ‘Dealer’. After the release of their EP, Bathe has been featured on Beats 1 Radio, Okay Player, Pitchfork and Spotify’s Fresh Finds playlist. In 2019, OkayPlayer listed Bathe on their ‘19 Breakout Artists to Watch For in 2019’.
