BD Wong is an American actor, born October 24, 1960 as Bradley Darryl Wong in San Francisco. He is best known for his roles as Dr. Henry Wu in Jurassic Park, Father Ray Mukada in Oz, and Dr. George Huang in Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. BD debuted on Broadway starring as Song Liling in M. Butterfly. He became the first actor to receive a Tony Award, Drama Desk Award, Outer Critics Circle Award, Clarence Derwent Award, and Theatre World Award for that same role.
He has since gained more notability starring in the war drama Seven Years in Tibet alongside Brad Pitt and the TV series Gotham alongside Ben McKenzie and Jada Pinkett Smith.
The role of cyber-terrorist Whiterose in the American drama series Mr. Robot earned him both an Emmy nomination and a nomination for the Critic's Choice Television Award. BD is also known as the voice of Captain Li Shang from the Disney animation Mulan.
