Beabadoobee Bio
Beabadoobee is the stage name for Filipino-British singer-songwriter and guitarist Beatrice Kristi Laus. Laus was born on June 3, 2000 in Iloilo City, Philippines, from which she moved to London at the age of three. She began to play the violin from a young age and when she was already skilled with it, she began to play the guitar. Her musical production began at the age of seventeen when she already had extensive experience playing the violin and guitar. In 2017 she released her first single “Coffee”, which quickly reached more than 300,000 in the first year. Her success attracted the interest of Dirty Hit Records, with them the following year she recorded her first EPs “Lice” and “Patched Up”. Her soft and lo-fi folk style is recognized. In February 2020 she won the Radar Award at the NME Awards.
