Lloyd Vernet Bridges III, better known as Beau Bridges, is an American actor, director, and producer best known for his work in film and television. He was born in Los Angeles, California, United States, on December 9, 1941. Beau began his acting career in 1948 at the age of seven when he appeared in the film No Minor Vices, a performance that kicked off his extensive career in film and television. He has had recurring roles in the TV series The Coldest Case, Mosaic, Bloodline, Masters of Sex, Hit and Run, and The Millers. Beau’s filmography includes Charlotte's Web, Max Payne, The Mountain Between Us, The Fabulous Baker Boys, and RocketMan, but he is best known for starring in the comedy-drama film The Descendants alongside George Clooney, Shailene Woodley, Amara Miller, and Nick Krause.
